HO CHI MINH CITY, April 8, 2024 – BSSC is pleased to announce that we have signed a MOU with VINFAST to promote electric transportation development in the city. Our goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation activities, promote green transportation development, and enhance societal awareness of electric transportation.
The event is part of the “Supporting Favorable Loans to individuals purchasing electric motorcycles” activity, within the project “Promoting the development of electric vehicles in Ho Chi Minh City” by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The collaborative program was officially launched in January 2024.

With the coordination of BSSC with electric vehicle providers such as Selex Motors, Grab, Gojek, and Be Group to implement community outreach campaigns, as of March 2024, the support activities have attracted more than 2,500 individuals interested in electric transportation development in Ho Chi Minh City. Over 300,000 engagements on social media and over 2 million views of content on television channels such as VTV24 and HTV.
At the signing MOU event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hang, CEO BSSC shared that the “Supporting Favorable Loans to individuals purchasing electric motorcycles” activity will be the starting point for many more electric transportation development activities in Ho Chi Minh City.
She also hopes to create more comprehensive cooperation opportunities between BSSC and VINFAST.
Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang – CEO VINFAST Vietnam shared that with this agreement, VINFAST and BSSC will collaborate to support Vietnamese consumers in transitioning from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles.
Especially, the event opens up new cooperation opportunities in the future between VINFAST and INNOEX – An annual international event designed to promote innovation and development for the striving business community in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
