Ho Chi Minh City, October 31, 2022
On November 10, 2022, SK Group will organize the Final Demo Day of the SK Startup Fellowship Program (SKSF). This marks the third batch of the program since its launch in 2020. Pitching at the Day are Top 12 startups of SKSF 2022, which were selected from hundreds of applications and have gone through 6-month intensive acceleration activities, e.g. 1-1 mentoring, financial training, fundraising workshop, and networking sessions. The startups will have a chance to showcase their products and pitch their businesses to SKSF’s network of partners including VCs, CVCs, corporates, and other local partners, to explore further investment or business opportunities. Most importantly, SKSF Demo Day welcomes a prestigious Board of Judges made up of the region and Vietnam’s leading investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts. The Board will evaluate and decide on the winning Top 4 startups of SKSF 2022, each of whom will receive a non-equity grant worth US$50,000. The remaining 8 startups will each receive a non-equity grant worth US$16,000.
Stay tuned with SKSF Demo Day 2022 to find out who the winning startups are!
SKSF Demo Day 2022 – One of the best places to look for potential startup deals
For the past 6 months of SKSF 2022, Top 12 startups in the program have gone through intensive acceleration activities, including 1-1 mentoring with industry experts and Vietnam’s top businessmen, training on corporate finance and governance, workshop on fundraising with focus on fundraising during an economic crisis, and networking with SKSF’s partners, e.g. VCs, CVCs, corporates, and other local partners.
The program is rigorous, and designed to push startups to “do more faster”. By the end of the 6-month program in 2022, SKSF startups have shown significant growth and achievements:
– Bizzi signed a partnership agreement with HCMC Young Business Association (YBA) which gives them strategic access to a large potential customer pool
– Fundiin and VUIHOC successfully raised 6-figure rounds from regional and local investors amid difficult economic times
– BenKon, Selex Motors, Hi-tech Care Technology JSC, Realbox, Selly, SoBanHang, Cypher AI, CyberPurify, N2TP all made significant progress in key business functions such as revenue growth, new product launch, human resources and organizational development, etc.
These highlights demonstrate that Top 12 startups of SKSF 2022 have channeled their efforts into building strong internal capabilities which later paved the way for their sustainable growth strategies and successful fundraising during times of economic downturn. Graduating from the program, SKSF startups now have a strong foundation ready to scale. All of these will be shared on stage at SKSF Demo Day 2022, making the event a unique opportunity for investors and corporations alike to look for potential startup investment deals or partnerships.
