Ho Chi Minh City, April 20, 2025 – The Award Ceremony for the Humanitarian Logistics Hackathon 2025 was successfully held, marking the impressive journey of young talents in developing innovative humanitarian logistics solutions. The event welcomed representatives from government departments, logistics experts, businesses, humanitarian organizations, and universities and high schools across the city. Notably, over 270 selected university and high school students competed in the semi-final round.

This year, the Hackathon attracted more than 800 young talents competing in two batches: the High School Batch and the University Batch. Participants came from high schools, Vocational Education and Continuing Education Centers, universities, colleges, and vocational schools across the city. During the intense Semi-final Round on April 19, teams underwent a demanding 15-hour continuous competition to refine their ideas and build products.
The top 20 outstanding teams (10 teams per batch) advanced to the Final Round and delivered impressive presentations. The Humanitarian Logistics Hackathon 2025 Award Ceremony concluded successfully, with a total prize value of 150 million VND.

The Humanitarian Logistics Hackathon 2025 is an initiative organized by the Business Startup Support Center (BSSC) and Kühne Logistics University (KLU), under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The Hackathon received strategic partnerships from Giao Hang Nhanh (GHN) and HELP Logistics, along with support from leading experts in logistics and technology. The total prize pool was 150 million VND.
Launched with the mission to develop innovative solutions for improving disaster relief operations, the Hackathon focuses on supply chain optimization, the application of advanced technology, and early warning systems. More than just a competition, it serves as a platform to connect creators, logistics experts, and students to collaboratively address humanitarian challenges, striving for a future where no one is left behind. Each proposed solution not only showcases innovation but also holds the potential to save lives in emergencies.
The outstanding ideas from the competition promise to open new avenues for optimizing the transportation and distribution of relief supplies, contributing to more efficient humanitarian operations in Vietnam.
With the theme “Humanitarian Logistics,” the Hackathon encourages students to propose creative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of relief efforts during natural disasters and humanitarian crises, supported by guidance from leading industry experts. |
