The UMI Project (You Make It) builds STEM Robotics educational products that are suitable for Vietnamese students. They are used in everyday life (such as intelligent indoor lights, automatic sprinklers, etc.), allowing students to program their expected functions with reasonable cost.
At the present, ABC Maker consists of A4ed and A4ing. As for A4ed, our goal is to teach students from primary to high school basic learning and advanced learning about programming and manufactoring in order to help them develop thinking ability, technology and make handmade products individually and in group. A4ed is designed based on Project-Based Learning method. As for A4ing, out target subject are students from rural areas. Its principal point is the simple curriculum which help secondary students can self-learn and make the product by themselves. A4ing’s result is “lean mini-Fablab” – a place where students can gain experience, learn (online, offline) and share with others.
